Story of The Pink Casa
The Pink Casa started off as a design concept for my home in Salt Lake. I was missing home in south Texas and wanted to bring in my culture & roots to my design.
It has evolved now into a physical space, transforming my childhood home into The Pink Casa. A space to stay, play & be inspired by the design and color.
Holla, I'm JC!
I resigned from my 12 year career in the corporate world in the fall of 2021.
Why? I decided to take a risk & pursue my passion. A passion for color, design, Mexican art & travel. My goal is to bring The Pink Casa experience to all those that are looking for a piece of Mexico in their home.
My Roots
I am a military brat who has lived in 3 countries and in 6 states. I am proudly Mexican American that enjoys having both cultures intertwined in my life. As I have grown older I have had a yearning to connect to my roots and express them in my interior design. By doing so I feel much more connected to my roots and those of my abuelos.
Design Background
Ever since I was a kid I had a love for decorating spaces by mixing textures and colors. As an adult I have had many opportunities to space plan and design different interiors for clients. My belief is simple, your home is your sanctuary and should reflect who you are. My design is inspired by my Mexican Culture and my travels around the world.
My Travels
My passion for travel stems from wanting to connect with others. I have ran in 12 countries and 4 continents, this gives me the opportunity to see the city in a different way; I am drawn to the architecture and design. When I look at the spaces I have designed I can quickly pick out where that inspiration came from.
